We are incredibly grateful to our hosts at the Columbia Teachers College @tischfoodcenter and our supporters at the @nycfood @nycschools for giving us a platform to present the food education program we are running at P12X. The impact we’ve had on the school, along with our network, has been truly transformative.
At FoodStream Learn, we tackle food insecurity by transforming how NYC public school students relate to food—from seed to plate. We’re incredibly proud of our team and the schools we serve for delivering these life-changing educational initiatives to students of all ages and abilities.
We had a blast at P12x a D75 School 100% autistic kids! Every week for 13 weeks. we cooked, learned about food nutrition, played VR cooking games, read recipes, measured out ingredients, went to Queens Farm and did voluntary work at Hunts Point the largest food produce market in the world! Have a great Summer and see you again in the fall.
